(3/4) Feedback on "Chicago" by Vicious V53:

• At 2.40, you can create a build-up here with percussion and a Mono Synth lead, with some cool delay effects added. Continue to build until a proper break at around 3.20.

• For a break, you can start with just a few elements and then introduce new elements every round until it feels natural to kick in a drop at around 4.40. Make a track longer and really complete the structure, and you'll have a full-on house track DJs can easily add to their mix.

(4/4) Feedback on "Chicago" by Vicious V53:

• House music is very specific in terms of arrangement. The more a track follows a structure, the easier it is more DJs to throw it in. You're on the right track. All you need to do is analyze famous house tunes out there, copy their builds and apply it to your song. This track belongs to a solid house mix and I'm positive this can easily land on someone's tracklist.

This week's review goes to "Quiet Nights" by JustMe - A dramatic slow burner that could easily soundtrack any movie. Let's have a look how you can polish this track further!

(1/5) Feedback on "Quiet Nights" by JustMe:

• The intro works really nicely. At 0.30, I think you can give something new to listeners in order to catch their attention further. Try adding a synth melody from our Mono Synth to make this part stands out more.

• The reversed drum parts go really well with the melody but also try adding a white noise build-up from our library that goes well with the shift at 00.46 - a perfect spot to introduce a "real" beat.

(2/5) Feedback on "Quiet Nights" by JustMe:

• Also, try adding some kind of bass frequencies to add more depth to the composition. Our Wub Machine for example always gives a punch.

• I get what you're going for here with the shift at 1.00. For some listeners, however, this might be a little bit unpredictable. After all, music is a lot about mathematics and logic. The more we follow the unspoken "rules" the easier it is to please an audience.

(3/5) Feedback on "Quiet Nights" by JustMe:

• While you don't always need to "please" an audience, you can help them a little by gluing together the parts from 1 minute and the elements that come after. I suggest adding a big reverb on the last hit before the break so those parts belong together.

• The sounds in the break feels original and playful. But try adding something more at 1.15. Check out the Synth Pads in the GM-2. You can find lots of yummy pads over there.

(4/5) Feedback on "Quiet Nights" by JustMe:

• It’s all about building anticipation in music production. There needs to be new materials to keep listeners excited throughout a track. :) Even if you're introducing a new element at 1.33, for me the introduction is too shy to be really noticed. What about creating a huge whale kind of sound that screams in the background? Sth at low volume but with loads of reverb and some punch from distortion. Sth to shake things up perhaps?

(5/5) Feedback on "Quiet Nights" by JustMe:

• At 2.05, I think it’s time to move on. I'd go for a short break with just one element and then start a build-up for the last crescendo or a drop.

• It gets repetitive at 2.40, but I think you already know this judging from what you said about the ending. I'd like to hear how this develops further.

• I like that you really stay true to what you like. Keep working on your sounds and crafting your arrangement. Never stop producing!
