This week's review goes to "Together" - an upbeat blend of sweet melodies and syrupy hooks (and a debut!) by Sam Lee. Here's my feedback on how you can perfect your build-up and drop.

(1/4) Feedback on "Together" by Sam Lee:

• The intro could be a bit more catchy imo. I’d choose a synth sound from one of the instruments on our GM-2. Try adding a one tone stab in the same key as the rest of the track with loads of reverb or delay. This will create an element for listeners to focus on.

• The drum beat that kicks in at 0.12 needs to be more in front of the production. Take the volume up on the drum parts. Don't forget to use the compression as well as the EQ to balance it out.

(2/4) Feedback on "Together" by Sam Lee:

• The bass line that kicks in at 0.31 is almost inaudible. Again, increase the volume here and use the compressor to bring more focus to it.

• The transition up to 1.12 works well as a first break. However, the drops is slightly dry. I would look into single shots in our sound library or make ones yourself. Try a synth sound with the same key, for example, and put some reverb there.

(3/4) Feedback on "Together" by Sam Lee:

• The round that stops at 1.29 could go for a full new round but with some extra percussion. Check the loop library to add an extra layer of richness!

• At 1.48 Try adding one of the Phat Basses from the Wub Machine here.

• At 2.07 I’d again go for another round, and after that go for the break.

(4/4) Feedback on "Together" by Sam Lee:

• The last break until the drop at 2.26 is great. When the drop kicks in I’d alternate the theme to surprise the audience with something new. I would go for alternating the melody a bit as well as adding more percussion and a deep, fat bassline.

Overall, nice work, no doubt about that. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Keep on producing and dropping more stuff!

@archie-harris-milnes9313 Unfortunately updating a track is not possible right now so better publish it as a new track :)

Hi, just a quick question, if you publish a track then make some the changes to it after you have published it, can you update it so people can here the changes you have made or do you have to publish the same track again with the changes on it?
