I Awake
This week's review goes to "Final Drop" Electric Dreams - an airy, nature-tinged sound worth notice. Here's my feedback on how you can build it into a more expansive soundscape.
I Awake
(1/4) Feedback on "Final Drop" Electric Dreams:
• The intro is great, but perhaps you can introduce a new element already at 11 sec to be really on top of the production, a synth pad from our GM-2 perhaps?
• When the beat kicks in at 0.32, I’d accentuate it by adding a down pitched cymbal with loads of reverb. And remember to cut the lower frequencies with a Parametric EQ.

(2/4) Feedback on "Final Drop" Electric Dreams:
• I really like the musicality with the bells. At 0.42, I’d add something more, like a shaker or perhaps some hi-hats. Or I might even look into a soft arpeggio.
• The transition to the new vibe at 0.54 works great. To fill up the headroom, I recommend soft electric piano chords with delay. Try one of the piano sounds from our GM-2.

(3/4) Feedback on "Final Drop" Electric Dreams:
• The sidechained pad that kicks in at 1.15 is a bit too loud and stiff to my ears. I'd play with delay and reverb as well as cleaning up the frequencies with a Parametric EQ to get a good blend.
• At 1.36, better to start building up to a crescendo to really get listeners hooked. Adding a reverse white noise as a build-up along with a vocal sample would be perfect. Try "Noise Rise" or "Noise Build" in our studio!

(4/4) Feedback on "Final Drop" Electric Dreams:
• Instead of finishing the song at 2 min, I'd go for at least 3-4 min long. The vibe is so nice so the track deserves it. Remember to build up anticipation and introduce new elements along the way.
• Lastly, the mix. This is a pretty clean production. Cutting lower frequencies on every channel with the Parametric EQ will clean up headroom and give dynamics to the track. All in all, good work. Keep it up!
