This week's review goes to "City Life" - A fun collage of urban sounds by VAVIBEAT AKA BEAT BUNNY!

(1/4) Feedback on "City Life"
• It's great that you're having fun with sounds from our library. :) However, when using loops, don't just lay them on top of each other. Extend them so you get longer rounds, like 4, 8, 16 bars (on top of studio). Your song will have a structure that listeners can follow along.
• For example your intro disappears after 0.13. And the sounds after 1.12 are so different that it feels like a new track. But don't worry, here's what you can do.

(2/4) Feedback on "City Life"
• The choice of sounds you choose are interesting and could be translated into a solid style for yourself.
#1 Let's step back a little bit and have a plan for your work. Trust me, it's more satisfying to draw up a plan and creates sth that aligns with that.
#2 Choose 2-3 loops that fit well together in you ears. Use them as the foundation for your track.

#3 Slowly add new elements on top of that foundation. Don't forget to keep them a few rounds long!
• Tip: There's absolute nothing wrong with using loops, but I strongly recommend that you try out our instruments as well.
• Load up a synth, like the GM-2, with a sound that you like and play with the keys on your keyboard.

(4/4) Feedback on "City Life"
• Eventually you’ll find nice melodies that work with your song. Or you can also replicate some famous melodies you can get from the internet just to try out!
• Fear not the unknown. Record, delete, record, delete, record and edit, edit, edit until you are totally happy with your creation. When done, it'll be your own expression that we hear. Keep producing!
