(3/4) Feedback on "C.L.X"

• The whole thing at 0.54 is just f***ing great. They are slightly too hard and rough though imo. Try to make them mix better with the rest and sound smoother to the ears, again with EQ.

• The ”overtone” lead is just up my alley. Just continue with that. I love it. :D

(4/4) Feedback on "C.L.X"

• A song is like a living organism. It shifts and transforms all the time. Try to make small adjustments each time the same theme returns.

• You got this Bass Lenses. Just develop it further and have fun!

• Sidetracked: Your track reminds me of XTC by DJ Koze: https://soundcloud.com/pamparecords/pampa024-dj-koze-xtc

I wish any of the soundation team would notice the tracks I make, I feel like they just don't care about me, maybe it's because I'm so untalented but shouldn't the untalented get more feedback than the talented? The talented don't need it nearly as much

This week's review goes to Excalib3r - An uncompromising and intensive trip into a dark void by P!X3L_PuNk. A great example of a track made with a clear vision. See my feedback below on how to make a theme even stronger with arrangement.

(1/5) Feedback on Excalib3r

• The main theme is dark, dramatic and powerful. It works very nicely. To make it less predictable, try altering the chord progression on the last chord in every round.

• The kick drums at 0.22 is a bit too rough for the track imo. I understand you want them to be strong and powerful, but I’d choose a softer one.

(2/5) Feedback on Excalib3r

• At 0.32 I'd go for something new rather than repeating those main chords. Just keep the rest but replace that theme with some other chords or some sweet pad sounds from the GM-2.

• When it comes to the track's flow, I think the break at 0.43 is not in the right timing. Check previous feedback when it comes to my tips on a track arrangement!

(3/5) Feedback on Excalib3r

• I love the sharp wobbly lead at 0.53. Try skipping those intro chords to really let the lead take a center stage. Also, try altering the beats to intensify the vibe.

• At 1.17 it feels natural to come back to those chords again. Perhaps with an extra layer with the same chords, but a different sound. Work with a lot of delay and reverb on that extra layer.

(4/5) Feedback on Excalib3r

• At 2.08 a new element is introduced which is great. Slightly too loud imo, so tone it down a notch.

• It’s clear that you have a clear vision when it comes to sound design, but don’t hesitate to spend extra time designing the structure for each individual sounds. :)

(5/5) Feedback on Excalib3r

• You have all the elements needed for a full track already in your composition. Listen to others and try to understand how their tracks are built. Most of the magic in music composition is how it's arranged.

• I listened to your earlier tracks and I definitely see improvements. Keep on producing. I can totally see your track getting featured in the future.
