@ProBeatz Trap is being associated with hip hop a lot lately, and it bothers me bc this is not trap, it's hip hop. Real trap is almost a sub category of dubstep, a dark vibe with a crisp melody and groovy chords. Hip hop is more like this, a nice beat, some powerful bass and recycled melody being played thru the track, like something you could rap to. So yea, trap and hip hop are very different, but a lot of hip hop artists are calling their stuff trap even tho it's hip hop. This is a perfect example
Yeah, then we have people like moist.wav, 999, and R.D3 who make some amazing trap beats. Honestly, Soundation does need to add more options though, because with Trap and Lo-Fi you really don't have much to work with. It makes it harder for people on Soundation to make Trap and Lo-Fi songs. That's why so many people, who make Trap or Lo-Fi music, use FL Studio. It's because FL Studio provides so many options. You have a lot to work with there.
I don't care if you use loops and samples. I care if it sounds good. And frankly, I'm not one to judge whether this song is good because a. I've been making music for only 5 and a half months now, and b. As I've said many times before, I really don't like trap. At least not Soundation style trap, which is an extremely simple, repeating beat with a melody behind it. Occasionally some bass kicks in at some point. But in my own opinion, Soundation really needs to start featuring songs that have more depth to them than just a beat and a simple melody.
jokes aside ig it's ok, theres definitely some loops mixed in here it's easy to tell. Kinda boring, pretty repetitive, kinda just a basic soundation "trap" track, wouldn't really feature this

Kal just bc the community is yelling at you to feature hip hop (or what's now considered trap) doesn't mean you have to

The second that beat kicked in at the beginning I was like oh, here we go again.
