I'd say the first drop is normal and melodic dubstep at the same time; and the second one is only dubstep.
Also I have heard it said that this is not dubstep but since I don't know what I'm talking about and I'm sure overdoze does I will assume what I have heard is wrong

Nah I love dubstep. This one's just weird to me. JUST MY OPINION....doesn't make a difference that the track is really good though.
