try a compressor on fx channel that things go through AND a limiter on the stereo, you can do a lot with the threshold and ratio :) as long as the attack is low and the release is low as well, around 120-300 ms (so 7-15% on Soundation). On Soundation Studio you can try a 4:1 ratio for hard sidechain, I just play by ear but usually my ratio is high for sidechain
@cheers its just oscar who forgot to take his meds today, yeah i put limiter on master, then distortion over it for that extra volume, however, there is no distortion bypass automation, so i cant stop the places where i dont want clipping to not clip
However, due to Soundation Studio's limitations, putting a limiter on the Stereo Out channel and upping the settings for raising the volume can definitely cause distortion when used in large amounts, intentional or not. Also, it's been awhile and I forgot your original account, but you remind me of this dude who was infamous for making bot accounts all the time because his main was banned, he made, imo, average EDM music, it was Cloud something I forgot
@COVID-19 Boomer The dB ceiling in Soundation is not visually detectable nevertheless forgiving; once something passes the ceiling, it distorts easily. I think Shards also uses compression/limiting to raise the volume, but putting a limiter on the Stereo Out channel for the use of sidechaining is not going to help to stop clipping. When I used Soundation, I used a compressor for sidechaining (I do that for Cubase as well, it's more controllable), and in Cubase I use a Group channel for sidechain, not the Stereo Out.

little hollow
You just never know when someone is going to put a better come back or not. I enjoy watching humans at work lol

lol these conversations though. I'm glad humans have opinions. This is amusing xD. It's like watching a political argument on Youtube lel
