(1 of 3) Sound Check Feedback on RAZZMATAZZ’s track 9:
Love the melancholy in this downtempo gem. Sounds a bit like something I’ve could have done.
My feedback on the production:
*The intro part feels very glued together. The mix is a bit muddy for my taste though. I would lighten up the upper frequencies on the pad and the percussion.
*Instead of slowing down I would keep the progression up at 1.36, like introducing something new.
(2 of 3) Sound Check Feedback on RAZZMATAZZ’s track 9:
*I’d choose to start the build up to the drop at around 2.35 to raise the anticipation. Now the beat just kicks in. I would also add some kind of ”splash” like a cabal or a gong to really announce the new part.
*The choice to introduce something new at 3.12 is perfect. I would go for a clearer sound though in order to differ from the rest of the similar sounds.

*At 3.36 I’d add more stuff. Perhaps some kind of vocals and a sidechained extra pad. And for sure something extra percussive.
Drum fills are always effective and I would choose to add some toms or snare fills here and there during the beat parts.
I would also work a bit more on the outro in order to make it a bit more unpredictable. Looking forward to hear your future productions!
