I also sometimes customize loops.

I don't like overusing loops but I do sometimes use one shots or short rises.

loops are good for background drum patterns and background sound (crowds, ambient sound). That it. Never use them for melodies, chords or anything else.

loops are helpful for extra atmosphere and also always best used for effects I only use them for that alternative.

My thoughts is that samples and loops is like , using someone else's sound, that means that your song would not be 100% original.

I think that loops are pretty cool. I personally like creating everything my own from scratch, but not everyone can, and loops are a great way for people to still make music and learn. That's just my opinion, Idk

They are often beautiful and the sound of those familiar loops, the ones that come from soundation, bring tears to my eyes and make me smell the old days when I first started, when I was known as Akagitsune. I was so much more naiive about internet socity.. im still naiive about it. It just doesn't give the same feeling anymore.. and it makes me remember the first time on Soundation, because one thought leads to another, and how From Dog To Wolf inspired me to start Soundation.. amd he actually accepted me in his group 😭 and I cried with joy

When you make your brain slow down on what its hearing and focus on minor details it realizes that a loop was used. Example songs with loops: Rockstar by Dababy ft. Roddy Ricch; The Box by Roddy Ricch; WITHOUT YOU by The kid LAROI; Lucid Dreams by Juice Wrld.

yeah that's how I feel but their most common. IF you ever listen to a your favorite song instrumental, they use loops but build up and that's how they are hidden. They usually ad fx, beat, harmony, bridge loop, to spice it up, so you really don't pay attention to it until you think about every little thing that was added into a track. Your brain kinda goes in auto pilot when listening to a looped track bc it likes what it hears.
