This week's review goes to "N.I.C.E" a dance floor filler by Carter Buckets. This is definitely a clean production with good use of a vocal loop. Check out all the tweaks you can do to get it even more dance floor-ready!

(1/4) Feedback on "N.I.C.E"

• Since it's a very straight 4/4 beat, try phattening the kick a bit more to get that extra deep punch. You can add a kick with more sub frequencies and then lower the volume on the existing one to get that punch.

• The bass works very well with the beat. Just to add some variation, try landing on a different key at the end of every 8 bars.

(2/4) Feedback on "N.I.C.E"

• The synth sound at 1.08 isn’t really in the same key as the rest. It becomes obvious in the break together with the vocal sample. Try to pitch it up or down until it aligns with the other elements!

• To make the build-up thicker, you can add a snare or handclap rise together with a white noise uplifter. You can find claps and uplifters in our sound library. 😀

(3/4) Feedback on "N.I.C.E"

• When the drop kicks in I expect something new in the track. Perhaps you can add either a synth stab or some pumping pads. You can achieve the pumping effect with our Fakie.

• Also the bass is a bit rough in my ears. I recommend you to lower the volume a bit. Adding Fakie would help as well.

(4/4) Feedback on "N.I.C.E"

• To get this track dance floor-ready, try to make it twice as long. Most dance tracks are around 6 minutes these days. You can learn a lot and get a lot of inspirations by listening to other tracks in the genre.

• All in all a great job! I’m looking forward to hearing it in a club. 😉
