This week's review goes to Jonas Aden - Tell me a lie (DMP remix) - A remix which, dare I say, has all the elements to actually become better than the original. Remixes are all about BIG drops, so read on to find out how to build up a track for a drop that hits harder.

(1/4) Feedback on DMP remix
• Great beat in the intro and it works really great together with the vocal sample!
• The break at 0.30 is a bit too sudden. A cymbal and one more tone of the last synth with loads of reverb would do the trick.
• The part from the start of the break until the vocals come in is slightly too long. You can shorten it or introduce new elements (like percussions) to build up for the vocals.

• 0.44 is where the build up to the drop starts right? To me it shouldn't stop at 0.53. I'd go for a more straight build up all the way.
• The EDM melody at 1.16 is something I'd save for a later break. Here I would love to hear the full thing instead. If not there's at least at the drop that kicks in at 1.46.
• Question: why did you leave out the beat from the intro completely? Take it back here. :)

• So, instead of letting the melody take over it would feel natural to have the focus on the beat. I'd copy the intro beat and then build everything else around it instead.
• All in all, great work. Keep the remixes coming!
