Yes, the ones I dislike are the ones being overused in mainstream EDM, or overused in general. There are very many ways to create an original sounding chord progression, I view this as the easy way out.
ive given up on original chords at the moment. i was working too hard on melody and that stopped me from focusing on sound design. ill improve both bit by bit.
Yeah, the VA synth stabs with the automated release/sustain are certainly an improvement. The chord progression is pretty generic, which everyone probably knows by now annoys me, but your sound design is getting better.
