@little hollowThe shout-outs group isn't a guarantee feature, but a sort of secondary net to catch something that might fall off their radar to go alongside the share your sounds groups. And you're not supposed to advertise your own songs. You can get this by rereading the group's description. In addition, that track, "7", was not a weekly feature, it was featured because it was the winning entry of the SFSC "The Great Outdoors" theme. As for criticism, I did realize you had some there, but many users just left their's at "not feature-worthy". Hence it is directed to all.
just like that war with aperture and hatermchaterface. whew, you couldve started another one lol
lol jk, if it's like that then we can just be done. There, I ended it
lol but just to clarify i dont wanna be part of this argument
tbh its too bad peeps cant just make music and get along
its getting intense in here bois
I get that, but, what happens when they don't look at the tracks that are actually recommended? What then is that group really for? Self advertisement? And the time doesn't really matter for the soundation crew. Go search the track "7". It was featured after being 2 years old. I was just saying that I recommended it about the same timeline as this was posted. Was what I said not constructive? Or was it out of line? I mean sure I shot a few insults, but other than that I was just building my case as to why he was wrong. And everyone just freaked out about it.
@little hollowFeatures are not like a contest entry where a 1st place or better entry gets featured over other submitted tracks. It's kinda just a track that gets picked when they find it. So that doesn't mean other tracks like Voxel's track you suggested is now out of the question because this track was picked instead. No, It is still as eligible to be a future feature. This may take some time though; my only non-contest related feature took at least 3 months after posting until it got featured.
maybe just calm down a bit buddy
