question how cool would it be to make a song based on a youtube song?

This can honestly jus be by a bunch of trial and error until you find som that works. anyways, after you created a good set of chords, the rest is very very easy. all you have to do is make a melody that sounds good with the chords. From there you jus need to make sum drums n ur good but a counter melody does make the beat a lot more interesting. and i guess u could jus pm me if you need help with drums.

you could honestly learn more on youtube by jus searchin shit up but imma try to help u. first you gotta find a key/scale. youll have to pick different keys depending on the mood you're goin fo. youll prolly want a minor scale if your goin fo trap(again, you can look more into this if you want by jus searchin it up). Then, youll wanna make sum chords. If you dont kno what chords are, they are jus three or more notes played at the same time to create a harmony. Try to make at least four chords that compliment each other.
