EQ and reverb are universal for all genres, for an audible bassline, you was a distorted supersaw, (ask Trillan for specifics) for a sub to layer over that bassline, you want to go into simple, put the volume at full for all the oscillators and select “sine” for all of them, if you don’t have good headphones you might not be able to hear it, but it ,Makes a huge difference
... So I go wub machine choose triangle sub turn up the cutoff and sidechain it and I've got a good baseline. Is there a better way of doing this? Also I chose that kick cause I thought it would sound good but its a bit too weak. Good for other stuff. I could have added more reverb to the snare but I chose not to (I don't know why). I like your feedback but you don't usually do edm and I don't know if the stuff you mentioned works for ordinary edm.

Also, one more thing, try to have some actual instruments in your songs besides a piano, they ad nice pizzaz instead of your whole track just being electronic synths, try adding different pianos, guitars, xylophones. SOme gm-2 synth pads are nice too if you add effects wisely
First of all I have crappy little ear pods so it always sounds really bad. Also I start off with the reverb presets and then edit them further. I don't just stick a good 4 strings preset on and call it done. Also I want to have a lot of bass in my EDM. .......
