@ChordsBoy Thanks. Perhaps you mistook it for my track Spaceship Equip. Because this and that track were both part of the same TSA Video Game Design event, I made the cover image a slight recolor of the other. @NOLLIJ Thank you. That's nice to hear. @VCNT_MND What's that look for?
Woah. @Pyrox yes this is my first feature. @ChordsBoy Yea, it came out of the blue. I "Woah" once more. @Vizal I'd say that's fair feedback. The pad is a mix of the GM-2 sine wave (100% attack), SAM-1 church organ (100% attack), and GM-2 Warm Pad (0% attack). The "xylophone" is actually the GM-2 vibraphone, also accompanied by the GM-2 synth strings 1. The song was to be background music, so it was made to be a little lengthy and repetitive. I will also admit, I have been, and may still be, a little rusty with mixing, EQing, and sometimes bass parts and drums in my opinion.
I like the pad but i wish you keep adding to that pad and made it have a stronger impact.
To me the xylophone does not fit into the first bits of the song until 5:19 but feels off putting to the rest of the slow based song also a little bit repetitive.
4:15 - 4:46 the pad really has a hard time in areas and should have lowered its attack to help it.
Only thing i wished you added is a nice lush bass that slowly builds until 4:15
