@Kryptic: Any original complete work you create musically is absolutely copyrighted by you. You're probably confusing rights issues with copyrights, but anything you make, you own the rights to in a general sense. Where it gets confusing is if someone were to claim they made the musical piece first. If you can't prove that you did, and there's a legal issue, then there could be problems, but that's fairly unlikely to occur unless you get famous. There's other things too, but that's the gist of it.
you should copyright your songs. if i copyrighted my songs i would put it up for download. but since i dont know how to copyright my songs, i'm not going to put them up for download. bcuz i put heart in my music and if i did put them up for download w/o copyright, people could just take it and say untrue shit.
