This group is aimed to both teach and demonstrate how to generate your own sounds using the instruments inside soundation studio. This group will primarily focus on making your own sounds and note clips to use in your own tracks but also show you how to make sounds work within a track. You should have some musical knowledge when you join this. Though you will learn some musical terms if you don’t know a whole lot about music. I hope you get your joins worth in this group :)
Sound sharing is okay encouraged! If you discover a sound that you would like to share with the group just write a comment with the instrument, values of that instrument, effects used (if any), and values of those effects (skip this if no effects). You can make a spreadsheet or document with the instruments and effects (if any) used to produce a particular sound (Example: http://tinyurl.com/6wocp3c ). You can also save a track as a .sng (Soundation Studio’s sound file) and send it to whoever would like to use it.
Announcements!Starting January 1, 2013 I will be disallowing all track ads. I will be giving this group more focus at the start of the new year. You will only be allowed to post sounds you have discovered and would like to share. Track posting may be disabled as well.

I may begin to clear out the tracks page and give this group more focus. This said, I may disallow track ads for this group in the future. I will give more details on this when I sort them out.

Yo... check this sound out. It is not named for the time being but I think you should like it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1u9eYXy6KCGuCTQczuuwusOsWQgfA3vsIf0JGYxQZ4so/edit Let me know if you have problems opening the document.

Guys if you did not use only instrument channels I do NOT want your track in this group. Go to MFF or some other group if you want to post tracks with loops and samples in them. I will delete any and all tracks that have any kind of loop or sample. I only want you to use the instruments provided in the studio. NOT the loops in the library.

Hey, if you guys could check out my three tracks thatd be sick! any feedback you give is appreciated, thanks!

Also, still trying to figure out how to make guitar sounds.... Y~Y

The song "all i want to say is" is nothing but premade loops. Just saying, that is the opposite of what is supposed to be in this group.... =|

FINALLY I made something without using any pre-made loops. It is called Fire and Ice. Pretty unfinished sounding, I think I should do some editing.... Any advice?

heh... Even now that I have a premium account myself. I rarely use the loops/samples in the library. And if I do wind up putting a few in it's just for fun and nothing serious (with some exceptions). My only dilemma is just putting rhythm to the sounds I make. I have this thing in which I just have to be original every time. It's not easy. Would be nice if they had a way of recording keystrokes right inside the studio... I spend at least an hour just playing with the virtual keyboard. Finding that sweet sound is easy... finding a cool rhythm (at least for me) is more difficult.

Good idea. Thanks for the feature. Until a few days ago I never really touched Soundation's instrument channels, and am dropping premium because I did. There is so much more to do, including the ability to recreate my own beats that go through my mind. I've also been fiddling with the fx while using instrument channels and have created REALLY cool stuff.

Sorry for not paying attention to this one xP I'm running around all over the place. Anyways... Snow Fox: I would like everything to be custom made. Anybody can use loops and samples. Takes a little more fiddling around to get a custom sound that you're after. Like if you've ever played with the Wub Machine (not just presets) that's a simplified wobble maker. Skits: I can have your little trackcasts featured so it's more easily seen. I can put something in the description. You could also add a "look at description" to the title of the track.
