Also I have only tried copying and pasting midi clips I don't use audio clips in most of my songs

@keylime no I tried seeing if the clips posted on top by dragging the pasted clip out of that channel after I unclicked the channel clips I selected and I know for a fact only one of the clips would get pasted and so I ended up having to paste each channels clips individually. Also that's actually not true in my experience, I am still able to paste a clip and it winds up where the line is so playing the song doesn't work any worse than in the normal server, although I have found the fact that when you click save on the song it pauses. Idk lol

The copy pasting is different and something to get used to.
I'm used to working while letting the playback play, so I'm used to pasting where the curser is at, but it seems newer studio does pasting where it pastes from the selected channel and the last place playback was started.

If you were copying from c, did you have the c channel selected? (nvm I read on). The other problem might be your clips are pasting on top of one another, if audio clips are involved, you problem have to have an audio channel selected when pasting.

It is, but sometimes it pastes in the wrong place, like if I have 3 channels labelled abc and I try to paste something I copied from c it'll be pasted in a sometimes, and other times when I try to copy a, b, and c at once it only pastes one. I have found that I can get rid of the first pasting problem by clicking on the channel I want to paste the copied stuff into but the other problem is especially annoying and I have found no solution for it.
