Fun sound at the start of the song! Great mix of reggae drums and modern sfx. You ahve done a nice job of having different volumes in the song as well, the quiet vocals add a bit of mystery to the piece.
The bongos fit with the genre, but are not the same tempo, they seem a bit busy for this laid back style. Can you slow them down? Or perhaps have a section that is just the bongos, like maybe in the middle of the song, or right at the start?
Is there some sort of melody you could put into the song to liven it up? Maybe a guitar or a bass or steel drums?
