Hey Little Hollow! How's it going? You're mostly correct. I use SPC's as my primary samples, but tend depending on the song, I'll layer them with DrumMachine or GM-2's, to give them extra snap or low-end. After I read your comment initially a few days ago, I tried working with one shots on a track I haven't done much with, just to test pilot, and the only issue I'm running into is that the bass drum's clash with the bass/sub, which would be the case with a lot of my tracks because of how I do my bass.
Hey, have you tried using loop drums? Lemme phrase that better. So you know the one shots? Maybe go around the loops, find what drums you like, cut them up so that they're your own one shots, and add effects to make 'em even more unique to you. I'm only saying this cause I only really hear SPC drums from you. I might be wrong. Tell me if I am lol

Cause I feel like if you had different drums your tracks would sound even better than they already do.
