Also, before you start, you want to pick a scale to use. I normally use C Minor, but for DnB you want anything between F and G# Major (unless you want a sadder sound, then use a minor scale instead). This allows the bass and sub bass to punch through due to the frequencies. If you build your bassline and chords from that (the bassline being the root notes of the chords) and make your melodies more melodic by fitting them in with the chords underneath them (rather than alternating). Hope this helped, and you're so going with me in the comp. :)

00:25 - 00:42 is just perfect, except for the clicking sound, and needs a buildup. Add some different hats and layer them over eachother (e.g. you've used hats form the dubstep category of the SPC, so you could add hats from the hip hop category to add more "flavour" to the drumbeat. Lower the volume of other sounds to make the drums really powerful. I can make out a lovely gritty sub, well done on that. In my opinion the sounds should be very clean, so the detune on that pad in the beginning, breakdown (and subtly in the drops) doesn't really do it for me. *continued*
