I know why!!! Because in the Mettaton quiz if you choose "Asgore" instead of Undyne, then the ending with Undyne and Alphys can't happen, so it gives you the neutral ending of "everyone is alive..."
And now I have to restart...
I was just playing Undertale, I tried getting a pacifist route but I realized AS SOON as I got to Asgore's castle, I was like "W8.... Why couldn't I meet Undyne?" For some reason, it exited me out of Pacifist and gave me nuetral, but I don't know why....
