Idk your situation but if you're hurting my best advice for you is to let it hurt. You HAVE to let it burn cuz if you try to block it out with other distractions you'll never heal. You might feel better temporarily but you'll feel feel the pain once those distractions are gone. If you're feeling pain. Let it hurt. Idk your situation but don't commit suicide. Don't bring self harm to yourself please. Forgiveness and closure from others definitely helps. But most importantly forgiveness and closure from yourself is the key to healing. Forgive yourself for "fucking up". Let yourself heal.
