I tried to expose this by making some of the Laurels have no high frequencies, and the other set to only have high frequencies with a lot of resonance. It's still possible to hear either one at any given moment tho :/

Its actually not age, its the age of your ears. That explains why i heard laurel (which used lower freqs) and my mom heard yanny (uses higher freqs) different people have different age ears depending on then environments they expose their ears to.

I watched the Youtube answer on this it actually depends on how old you are. Older people tend to hear the lower frequencies, so you might be able to hear Laurel that way. The video is here www. youtube.com/watch?v=yDiXQl7grPQ I heard yurel lol

@Unique Stereotype I'm aware of both those facts :3 @roix I mainly hear laurel, but after hearing higher frequencies, I actually hear "yalmy". I'm quite the specimen xD

its both at the same time. higher frequencies are yanny, lower are laurel. i hear yanny more than i hear laurel, but i still hear both.
