okay i found something to disagree with from backbonez. HOPSINS A BEAST!!! and you know what this songs kinda starting to grow on me a little, still reckon some lyrical work is needed but i find the production to be pretty catchy because of its repetition.

exactly, BackBonez gets what I mean. I just think that the drums are a bit dull, not necessarily the rhythms or the beat, but the actual sounds you are using, they are very mono with no variation on the velocity or pan, nor is there any reverb or other effects, thats why I think the drums sound a bit dull, also I think it could do with some toms/hats.
and that other song you posted has very different drums, the snare is interesting and changes each time and the drums also have interesting fills, it is definitely not just a kicker and a snare, it has toms in it as well and even pots and pans!

I have to agree with snow fox on the drums, there are quite mono and static as well as a bit boring, it just has a kicker and a relatively dull snare. having said that all the other components of the song are great
