Soundation is a lot like the Olympic 100 meter sprint. Even if you place dead last, it still probably means you were only a few seconds behind the best. That's because Soundation is a very unprofessional website, and there's not a whole lot of songs that really stand out.

You don't have to use just loops for your first song, it's just an alternative if you can't make something good with the synths. Eventually, though, you should try to use synths more than loops.
