Even if you have a 4 bar drum loop, the kicks and hi hat have the same exact short repetitive pattern. Work on making them be longer and less repetitive.

Oh and Phantomtracks my drum loop is not 2 bars long.You may not hear the other part though

Well your melody making seems like it certainly as improved. I'm not sure if the synths at the end were in key, it was kinda hard to tell. Now one thing I would highly suggest is use patterns. And also make sure your drum loops are atleast 4 bars long and not 2. You need to do more with the kick and way more with the hi hat. This is definitely an improvement.

Good so far! its all on beat and in key! maybe change the va synth to a pan flute? it in the gm-2 wind section

you can try to add a "filter" FX on this noise, setting to: lowpass and mid ressonance.
