honestly yes. one of my favorite songs right now is synthion - quick attack. not because its really cool and speeds up throughout the song (which is the only song i've heard that does that), its because of the "hey! that's pretty good!" that's just put in there for no reason (not even kidding thats a thing)
and more about the "putting memes in as pre drop vocals." i love the youtuber dylan tallchief who literally remakes songs but puts in memes everywhere within them. i find it hilarious and i was gonna take inspiration, but i told myself: self, that's kinda stupid xD
ok, i was actually about to delete those comments because i thought i would trigger a lot of people, but that was not the response i was expecting. i also realized, the intro to this song would fit in better than.... the actual song lol. i like the little 80s synth :P. referencing pop culture wins it big time in whatever you do, and it sucks. in a couple of tracks, i was legit thinking of putting memes as the pre drop shouts because 1. its hilarious and 2. references thingies. honestly, in this day and age, you don't really need skill to be popular. sorry nova, but i think its true.
