That would mean someone has to finish the song in whole, which I don't want. That would mean that our track is basically just my track changed up a bit.
@Greg, Could the sng be sent of to other people, there be a remix competiton and the best bits from all the songs are used in the actual thing? Just a suggestion.
I was waiting for someone to say something... LOL I'm a sucky host. Anyways, contest is starting soon. I'm putting up the Hangouts buttons and the project file here soon. Sit tight guys.
Sounds confusing, but you'll see. Also, Andreas hasn't gotten back to me, probably because he gets about a million PMs a day. I'm gonna try to post this on the Team Soundation page.
Also, I plan on running all of the brackets together (not really brackets because people won't be competing in several rounds) and tracks will be posted to the group. I'm gonna try to have it based as much in Soundation as I can. For example: If someone were to post a bassline, the track title would have to be (name goes here)'s BASSLINE, and I might make some track pictures to use so that we can organize the tracks. So each stem would get a different picture with "MELODY" or "BASSLINE" written on it.
I'm putting together a styled button for the above description that will be a clickable link when Hangouts are online. So it will say "GOOGLE+ HANGOUTS: ONLINE" and you can click the green Online button. When the hangout is offline, the button will be red (OFFLINE) and unclickable. Start date of the actual song composition is October 1st. Lyrics are whatever you want the song to be about. I personally was thinking it would tie in to how far we've come and being progressive (avicii silhouettes much? i steal a lot of stuff from him)
Good question, Pylit!! I think we have a lyricist on board...let's see - maybe let me hear the first track posts, and get a feel for what is being "musically conveyed", and from there, see if we can find the feel for a lyric base/theme. Sound like a plan? ;)

Google Hangouts are not archived, but they can be taped using third-party software.
