This group is also for more advanced users to post their own sounds for others to use. Just open the links and find a sound you like. How to submit: Simply P.M me a link to a document with all the details on how to create the sound or a .sng file, and if I think it's good enough ill provide it in a google drive link in this desc. Make sure your document is correct and is easy to understand. You can also post easy sound designs in the comments. You can post tracks here if they use a new interesting sound design. Christmas is finally over!Thank you for all your submissions! Excuse the delayed announcement. Unfortunately, there were a lot of songs that weren't made using Soundation or couldn't be verified so some of the runner-ups were disqualified.Congratulations to the winners, expect a magic upgrade and a DM.Winners1st placeHyphen - Jingle Bells remixHyphen was a bit OP in this contest, he’s had his share of features and it’s surprising he’s still squeezing things out on a free account. It’s time bro. Very smooth production and a nice play on the jingle bells melody. 2nd placeJOBEATZ2 - Carol of the beatz Hard trap beat with some Xmas elements in it, the mix is a bit off and it could need some more dynamics and switch-ups, but all in all, well played. 3rd placeXASTOLIAM - ChroniclesVery well-arranged and full-bodied production. It would have landed second place if it had some Christmas in it. Mix tip: tune your compression wisely, dial it back a little bit and don’t go ham on it all the way through - the end result will sound a lot more professional. Thanks Moon for putting this together!

You guys made my job of judging incredibly difficult, the level was insane! This song was first place in my heart before I even heard any other submissions, and it stayed that way up until now. Production? Astounding. Execution? Who needs to make a pre-drop fill anyway? Vibe? It’s a heckin' vibe! Bro, what a banger. What. A. Banger! This has to be the best of the legendary buzz songs yet, with the brilliant execution and exceptional production. The sound design was pretty sick, but those high ends hurt at parts. Overall, amazing job bro! Alrighty then. I think we all saw this coming. Third place - Hxppy Congratulations to: Sample pack of choice from the shop In third place, can we give a fat shout to Hxppy - your description says it all. You knew it would impress me, and you were too right. Excellent execution and a banger vibe made it an obvious podium contender. The production quality could have been slightly cleaner, but this issue is dwarfed by the song’s positives. Good job folks, made me and the Soundation crew proud. This is ya boy PETE peacin' out!

Beta Studio Test
Hi Testers, thank you for participating in a beta test of our new Studio! What's the plan? We will open this group for at least a month for all testers to post bug reports and general feedback. Your insights will provide invaluable assistance in the fine-tuning of our studio before its official release in the coming months. What's new in the Studio? We've made major changes from an architecture point of view so our new Studio has gained a major performance boost. More specifically, the new Studio is based on WebAssembly and is using components that are completely new in a browser. This helps us build a more powerful and stable Studio which in turn lets you create more demanding projects. While there are no new features added to the new Studio, this will facilitate any further improvements and added features in the future! What should I do? Make as many tracks as possible using our beta Studio: https://beta-studio.soundation.com (Important: Use this link only) on Chrome version 70. If you find any bugs in the process, please comment in this group with the information: What I did, what went wrong, what I expected + Operating system + Studio and Engine version Is there anything I should be aware of? Yes. Please find below more info on buffer size/latency and some known issues: 1. Buffer size vs. latency • Increasing buffer size makes the Studio work more fluently, with less risk of glitches but with cost in latency (recommended for projects with long effect filter chains and/or many SendTo effect instances). • Decreasing buffer size makes the Studio work with smaller latency but with cost in risk of glitches and fluency (recommended for simpler projects with shorten effect filter chains). Recommended buffer size is 512 or 1024. • In case of complex projects and need of short latency, try to mute as many those channels which has the longest effect filter chains and then decrease buffer size to 256, 512. 2. Known bugs raised by testers (work in progress): • Some presets of WubMachine (using Retrigger) differs in the beta studio • The studio stops responding when used for a long time 3. Current Studio version 2.0.1 Engine version 1.7.1 4. Improvements added • Import of flac • Import of mp4 (including import of the AAC coded audio track from video mp4 file) • Option to enable Turbo Mode to maximize CPU usage What will I get? Hey everyone! Welcome to my latest remix competition! Your task was to remix one of my latest tracks "Careless" then publish it into this group when you were done! Coming in 3rd place is: Quiksand! Once Again Remix Contest
Without further ado, here are the winners of the contest! Third place goes to... That's right, Lettuce! You made a pretty good remix with a decent amount of changes to the original that I can't say I have many problems with. Next for second place. It was really hard to decide between the top two... We have Voxel in second place! I could barely handle the swing!! Your changing up of melodies and the general song structure were really well done. I'm putting together an SNG folder which I will dm to you, so be on the lookout in the next few days. I'm sure you can all guess who won 1st place... yup, Little Hollow. He made the most dramatic and creative changes to the song and turned it into a real bop. I'll let you know when my collab spaces open up, and DM you that SNG folder. Thank you so much to everyone who submitted a track. I didn't exactly get as many submissions as I was aiming for, but that's just a lesson for next time. Over the past couple months the team and I have worked together to present to you our collaborative album, ‘Journey Through The Wilderness’ which sees 7 different styles of music blended together to form a unique burst of sound! A quick disclaimer: Although it is my (Noah Millar) album, I cannot deny the fact that most of the workload was carried out by the team, about 90% or more, so therefore credit them for their hard work :) And now a short word from the team HƎX: "Firstly I wanna thank Noah for inviting me in taking part of this album, and taking my idea to make a mega collaboration,working on this album has been very fun and dear to me because Noah is a great friend of mine, and as the person finishing off the album I am very greatful for that role, so once again thank you Noah, and may you all enjoy this journey through the wilderness 7/4/2020 remember the date" Katze: "Firstly, I would like to thank Noah for inviting me onto the project. Congratulations to the winners! 🥉 =3rd Place: Aephyr & HEX's remix - I could not choose an absolute 3rd place unfortunately, but I like how both were tailored to a more trap style whilst maintaining the tropical vibes we all love, so well done gentlemen. 🥈 2nd Place: Moist's Remix - I like how Moist touched on the more chill aspect of the original and built it into his very own lo-fi spice! I also particularly placed this remix at 2nd because of the art cover - a truly magnificent masterpiece! :) 🥇 1st Place: Nate's Remix? 🤔🤔 Now now everyone, no need to act so surprised. Nate's remix is unarguably the best remix (and might I add), one of my favourite dubstep tracks across the entire community! His remix basically sums up S.A.U.C.E and more! My favourite element of this song was the sound design and the chord progression! But to be fairly honest, I cannot fault it in anyway, so well done Nate :) Special Mention: Sonaris' Remix Although this song was not intended for the comp, I still think it deserves the credit, and would've been a decent competitor in the running. Winners should expect their prizes to come through in this coming week, but once again, thank you to everyone for your support and your efforts!
