After finding success as a superstar producer for artists like Taylor Swift, U2 and The Killers, Jacknife Lee took the plunge and made a 180-degree turn into releasing music himself. The LA-based producer's solo album features a collision of genres and collaborations with myriad underground artists. Channeling his love of Afrobeat, “Hit the Bell” is a kaleidoscopic piece of leftfield electronica featuring slamming verses by Toronto rapper Haviah Mighty and dreamy vocals from Sneaks.
