Thanks guys! For those that are wondering what key, I'm not 100% sure due to all the accidentals i used, but I'll tell you the chords. I used G and Cm. There is a D chord as well, but not often. For the Cm, I added the A# note for a jazz sound, and for the G I added the F note as well. Basically just add a note 6 and 1/2 steps from the root of whatever minor chord, and it sounds good. I think it's a 7th from the root on a major chord.
You should make glitch hop or electro swing. That would be interesting, and I bet you could pull it off. They are both genres that include blues or jazz tracks, and I think it would be pretty cool if you tried to do so. Nice job and keep up the nice work!
Funk music is so much fun to write, because you can do so much! I think it should still be played more often these days.
