Welcome to SineSaw I'm not the best at sound design and I know a lot of people who aren't either. That's why I made this group, for all the users struggling with sounds. This group is also for more advanced users to post their own sounds for others to use. Just open the links and find a sound you like. How to submit: Simply P.M me a link to a document with all the details on how to create the sound or a .sng file, and if I think it's good enough ill provide it in a google drive link in this desc. Make sure your document is correct and is easy to understand. You can also post easy sound designs in the comments. You can post tracks here if they use a new interesting sound design. Christmas Contest! (TOP 3 ANNOUNCED!)

The results have been cast! T O P 3 W I N N E R S ! Laaaashgoooo! 🥇 1st: "Merry" by Aikue "...so, I go to College, and at College we had a competition to make a Christmas song, so I came up with some chords but it was on logic, so I went home and just worked on that track all night on Soundation." 🥈 2nd: "Collapse" by ACAER (Due to reasons I was not able to file a mini-interview with him) But I really loved the intro as well as the main lead, and also capturing that Christmas vibe! (:🥉 3rd: "snow. VIP" by Shards "I remember creating Snow after formulating a nice chord progression, and the lack of Christmas competition didn't stop me from finishing the track then. I made snow vip mainly for one reason: the kick was too loud. Apart from that, I took the basic structure of snow and altered it, creating a more faster and powerful drop using fakies as well as a different drum beat." 8th Place: "Snowdrift" (by ViciousV53) A show-stopper infused with smooooth dreamy synths as well as some choppy house beats and awesome melodies that just screamed Christmas. So well done VV53. 7th Place: "Vibing with a snowman" (by rvmor & little hollow) Such a beautiful little piece from soundation's most beloved ambient producer and his pal rvmor - effortlessly combining little hollow's signature ambient formula with some chilly lo-fi beats, as well as a great choice of chords, this song has Christmas written all over, good job fellas! 6th Place: "A forgotten land of Ice and Snow" (by Galaxian) Something a little more unusual that just works so well! Recently known for his top 3 finalist remix of Jacknife Lee's "Hit the Bell", Galaxian comes back with another Drum n Bass hit with a subtle kick of Christmas vibe! Great Job! 5th Place: "Have yourself a Merry Christmas (Lofi Remix)" (by Hex) Typically known for his melodic trap beats, Hex takes a different approach to this contest with a lo-fi spin with delicate chromatic percussions and a frick ton of sidechain! Awesome stuff Hex! <3 4th Place: "Carol of the Bells (Remix)" (by Moon & XWolf) Awesome stuff guys, love all the sound effects and the fearsome drops, another unusual spin on a Christmas song! Drum and Bass Soundation contest Announcement! It may have been a long time since Soundation last ran a contest like this, but the entries were more impressive than ever! We were blown away by the quality of the submissions, and as a result it gave us some large thinking to do. However, we both agreed that a entry relatively late in the day was able to take the win in our view! Congratulations SLOCM3Z on taking the overall win! In our view, “The Thug” is a top tier track, and we couldn’t believe it when we heard it – meaning it is fully deserving of not only the top spot, but also to be featured for all to see! We felt that the sampling used was brilliant, alongside incredible sound design and typical drum and bass grit. You were able to push the studio so far during the production, and we hope the prize of Creator acount, and a 12 month pass for Europa will allow you to continue expanding and improving too! In a very close second, we have Aikue. “You Had Gone” is a brilliant example of liquid dnb of the type we would be used to hearing from some of the industries finest. Like with SLOCM3Z, you had just about the perfect sample for the track, and the instrumentation is not only perfectly used but also demonstrates the sort of sounds we all love to hear. We will all be able to listen more on the #Drum and Bass genre group, of which your track will be featured in, alongside the other prizes listed. In our final spot in the top 3, we have “Emails” by ENTERORRHAGIA. This harked back to some oldschool drum and bass which was a very cool throwback and almost perfectly done. The chopped drums and the punchy bass conspired to make this a super groovy pick for us, and was defo on repeat for some time.  However, we had to say the standards were sky high for this contest, and as the top 3 was such a hard list to pick, we have a number of honorable mentions we wished to shoutout too.  False + Unclassic - Bass N Drum - Great experimental textures, and unbelievably good sample used. Top notch sound design too.Sam the Giant – Godspeed – Lovely vibe, very smooth and creative, could have listened to this for hours. Great groove. B4S5RE4P3R - Crumb and Bass - Great atmospheric drum and bass, wubs and overall soundscape. Banger!Volk – Safe house – Echoy vibey song adding dubstep influence into the studio, reminding us of the father of the Wub machine... great tension building and swing. Theman17 – hyper – Phat sawstacks encompased this well produced arping groovebox of a song. Not heard any songs by this user before, but they are definatly one to keep an eye on for future!For everyone else, just because your song is not on this list does not mean we didn't really enjoy listening to it! You guys made my job of judging incredibly difficult, the level was insane! Honorable mentions Now, before we look at who’s taken the podium, let’s give a hand to some honorable mentions: Hyphen sorry to break the streak bro, this judging thing ain’t easy and it’s not thanks to you lol. Your production was exceptional but the execution wasn’t there for me. Keep stirring up the great tunes man:) Missiony damn, what a good remix. You had a great vibe going and the sound design was mint, but the production and execution were missing some zest. Okie dokie then. Podium time! The Podium First place - 4xharley Congratulations to: A year of Creator Europa Sample pack of choice from the shop Featured track   It’s an honor to say that in first place we have: 4xharley. When somebody comes along and submits a song like this, I feel guilty that all you get as reward is a 1st place title. Then I remembered that you also get epic prizes. This song was first place in my heart before I even heard any other submissions, and it stayed that way up until now. Production? Astounding. Execution? Who needs to make a pre-drop fill anyway? Vibe? It’s a heckin' vibe! Thanks for this masterpiece and congratulations on getting your first feature:)   Second place - Aikue Congratulations to: A year of Starter Sample pack of choice from the shop   GAAAAHHH TRIIIIPLEEEEETS!!!!! Bro, what a banger. What. A. Banger! This has to be the best of the legendary buzz songs yet, with the brilliant execution and exceptional production. The sound design was pretty sick, but those high ends hurt at parts. Overall, amazing job bro! Alrighty then. I think we all saw this coming.   Third place - Hxppy Congratulations to: Sample pack of choice from the shop   In third place, can we give a fat shout to Hxppy - your description says it all. You knew it would impress me, and you were too right. Excellent execution and a banger vibe made it an obvious podium contender. The production quality could have been slightly cleaner, but this issue is dwarfed by the song’s positives.     Good job folks, made me and the Soundation crew proud. This is ya boy PETE peacin' out!
