This is the remix competition for my new song with Caffeinayt, Mastered! After a few requests, we decided to hold a remix competition to hopefully get some good submissions. We will provide the unmastered sng, and the jpg. of the thumbnail if you want to remix your own cover as well. Rules: -Only 1 final submission per person_____ -Duo remixes are allowed, I kinda want to see what a duo project remixed by a duo sounds like_____ -Please don't abuse the free loops, it will probably give you a lower score, unless you can pull off an_____Abstract -Any DAW is allowed, as long as you aren't abusing the free loops of that DAW Resources: _____Sng.*_____Thumbnail jpg. no text Results: 1st Place: 1st goes to the one and only infct, for his hard, clean, and enormous take on our song. First prize is a master of a track in fl and access to any sng's you want from Caffeinayt, and 2 free guitar recordings and a access to any sng from Chordial. 2nd Place: 2nd goes to Dutchy for his huge and powerful dubstep rendition of Mastered. Second prize is access to select sng's from both of us, a free guitar recording from Chordial, and a mastering of one song in soundation. 3rd Place: 3rd place was a very hard decision between the last three. All three were unique, and had so many great elements. We decided to give it to Tenebris, for his all around solid remix with energetic deathstep elements and great compositional elements. Third prize is a giveaway of any sounds made in soundation by either of us, a free mixing of a track by Caffeinayt and an ambient recording from Chordial. The Feedback Group

This group is made for aspiring Soundation users who would like feedback on their tracks. If you don't get much attention with your tracks, you can always come here to brush up on your skills and learn from the community! Rules: -NO TEASING/BULLYING OTHER USERS. This should be an obvious one, but some people simply don't follow this rule, especially online. So, please, don't be disrespectful to other users. All we want is room for improvement! -JOIN, JOIN, JOIN! Okay, technically this isn't a rule, but if this group is to thrive, we need both types of members: the type that wants feedback, and the type that analyzes the tracks in this group. Whichever type of user you are, join this group to benefit everyone here! -DON'T FEEL BAD ABOUT "NEGATIVE" COMMENTS: The reason I put negative in quotes is because THERE WILL NOT BE ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS. However, if someone criticizes your track a little too harshly, don't feel bad. You shouldn't take the comment to heart, but you should try to improve in whatever area you don't feel confident about. -ANYONE CAN REVIEW EACH OTHER'S TRACKS!! This rule is definitely a good one. I am just a humble moderator. You members are much more musically capable, and I suggest you put that capability to use (not that you guys haven't already :D). That's all! This group is also for more advanced users to post their own sounds for others to use. Just open the links and find a sound you like. How to submit: Simply P.M me a link to a document with all the details on how to create the sound or a .sng file, and if I think it's good enough ill provide it in a google drive link in this desc. You guys made my job of judging incredibly difficult, the level was insane! Honorable mentions Now, before we look at who’s taken the podium, let’s give a hand to some honorable mentions: Hyphen sorry to break the streak bro, this judging thing ain’t easy and it’s not thanks to you lol. Your production was exceptional but the execution wasn’t there for me. Keep stirring up the great tunes man:) Missiony damn, what a good remix. You had a great vibe going and the sound design was mint, but the production and execution were missing some zest. Okie dokie then. Podium time! When somebody comes along and submits a song like this, I feel guilty that all you get as reward is a 1st place title. Then I remembered that you also get epic prizes. This song was first place in my heart before I even heard any other submissions, and it stayed that way up until now. Production? Astounding. Execution? Who needs to make a pre-drop fill anyway? Bro, what a banger. What. A. Banger! This has to be the best of the legendary buzz songs yet, with the brilliant execution and exceptional production. The sound design was pretty sick, but those high ends hurt at parts. Overall, amazing job bro! Alrighty then. I think we all saw this coming.   Third place - Hxppy Congratulations to: Sample pack of choice from the shop   In third place, can we give a fat shout to Hxppy - your description says it all. You knew it would impress me, and you were too right. Excellent execution and a banger vibe made it an obvious podium contender. The production quality could have been slightly cleaner, but this issue is dwarfed by the song’s positives.     Good job folks, made me and the Soundation crew proud. Christmas is finally over!Thank you for all your submissions! Excuse the delayed announcement. Unfortunately, there were a lot of songs that weren't made using Soundation or couldn't be verified so some of the runner-ups were disqualified.Congratulations to the winners, expect a magic upgrade and a DM.Winners1st placeHyphen - Jingle Bells remixHyphen was a bit OP in this contest, he’s had his share of features and it’s surprising he’s still squeezing things out on a free account. It’s time bro. Very smooth production and a nice play on the jingle bells melody. 2nd placeJOBEATZ2 - Carol of the beatz Hard trap beat with some Xmas elements in it, the mix is a bit off and it could need some more dynamics and switch-ups, but all in all, well played. 3rd placeXASTOLIAM - ChroniclesVery well-arranged and full-bodied production. It would have landed second place if it had some Christmas in it. Mix tip: tune your compression wisely, dial it back a little bit and don’t go ham on it all the way through - the end result will sound a lot more professional.  Thanks Moon for putting this together!
