Think you need a premium account to make good music on here? Nah that's rubbish, I am a free users and think soundation is great without any of the paid stuff. So if you want to show off what you can do with a free account join now and post your stuff. Have fun and share your music! Edit: Soundation are making it harder and harder for new users, from restricting the number of instrument tracks in each project to removing automation. This is really unfortunate. All I can suggest for those who miss these features but do not want to pay a premium for them is that you give audiotool a try.

Welcome to the Soundation Community Tournament! CONTEST CLOSED This is an annual tournament that celebrates the community. This tournament is a way for the soundation community to show off what they have done in the time that they have been here. This is a overall show off of how far soundation has come. While this is a contest you should also keep in mind that this is to promote Soundation as a whole! GOLDEN RULE This contest is meant to showcase Soundation and the community. You will not be warned so consider this rule your ONLY warning. POOR SPORTSMANSHIP WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. YOU WILL BE KICKED FROM THE GROUP, YOUR TRACK REMOVED, AND DISQUALIFIED IF YOU ARE CAUGHT, WITHOUT WARNING! RULES This contest will be divided into three phases: Join phase, Submission phase (when you will submit your track), and vote phase (which will determine this year's contest winners). -YOUR TRACK MUST BE ORIGINAL. NO COVERS OR REMIXES (sorry, late call :) ) -You may only use Soundation Studio to produce your track. you may only submit ONE track. -Your track must be at least three (3) minutes in duration. No limit this year (but please be mindful) -If you choose to use loops and samples you may only use the loops and samples provided by Sounadation in the Sound library or the sound shop. This goes for all types of pre made loops and samples (like vocals). -You may import vocals only if they were made by you. If you want to use pre made vocal samples they can only come from Soundation. Use of VOCALOID and/or UTAU is absolutely permitted (and encouraged) in this case. -You must tell which sound packs you used, if any, in the track description. VOTING IS OPEN! We're a small, relatively active group of music producers. Some of us are veterans, with experience in the field, while some are but beginners. I appreciate you looking at our page! I'm still new to the whole group administrator thing, but I'm learning with time. I'm very surprised at how fast we've grown! I know it's only a little more than ten, but that's still around one a day. You see so many groups die immediately. This is already more than I had anticipated, and I thank everyone for that! Anyways, uhm, group goal and things. In my opinion, I think we should just do whatever! The feedback I've received from the members here has driven my motivation, and inspiration, through the roof! I think that if you like making, listening to, or talking about music, you should join! I haven't had a problem with any rude, discourteous people yet, and I don't think I will anytime soon. Now, I don't think we're even close to the point of hosting contests and things, so I'll leave that for another time. I will change my featured tracks whenever the time feels right to change them, usually that's when someone posts an awesome track. I will never have more than one of my own tracks featured at once, as it feels selfish and rude to all of the others that have made music deserving of the position as well! Biweekly Facebook Feature Competition! ("fIGHT!")

Welcome to my open-for-all, Biweekly Facebook Feature Competition! Here's how the competition works: Every two weeks, I'll be selecting three tracks posted in this group to be featured on this page (for two weeks), on both my personal Facebook page, AND on my music Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pursuitmusic.ak?fref=nf) for two weeks, and they shall remain posted on this page... FOREVER (unless deleted or removed from the page by their respective artists. Also, this does not mean that they will be featured forever, but rather posted forever; there is a difference)! I will remove all other tracks, but they can be reposted for as many other biweekly periods as necessary to featured. Note that a track doesn't even have to be my favorite track in the group in order to be featured; I may select a track because of it's complexity, ingenuity, originality, or simply because I may want to help out newer members to the Soundation community.
