I can relate lol, with the car thing. And yeah i've been playing piano for 9 years since i was 6 years old. Which gives me 9 years of music theory, learning the endless possibilities of chords, and other stuff lol
dude, thats pretty epic. i've had to teach myself so far. so much to learn, so little time ;-; only thing ive learned from anyone in my family is that i don't like being christian and how for work on cars lol.
My dad is a drummer, my mom is a singer, my dad's mom is an organist who taught me how to play piano and her husband is also an organist. And then my mom's dad taught me how to sing, harmonize, etc. I basically learned how to write music pretty easily. Johann bach, that would be cool lol. I think the only important ancestors of mine are a Scottish dude who fought with William Wallace (Also known as Brave heart.) to free the Scottish from the english. And i'm also pretty sure my great something was William Pen's secretary. lol all these williams
if i did get anything from my supposed decedents, its probably offset by the sheer amount of musical incapability of everyone in my family so far.
apparently mine is from being a decedent of johann seb bach... we did actually have a few things from bach that were passed down in our family (someone jacked it in a divorce from what i heard), but i still have my doubts about being his decedent. also am a decedent of some famous irish man composer, again, i have my doubts cause i have yet to hear of this persons name lol. other than that, no one in my family has ever actually made ANY music all the way up to my great great grand parents on all sides.
Mine was from my grandparents.
