People like hearing that because then they 'll tell you exactly why they don't like your stuff, then you can improve and be better for everyone. Sometimes they'll be harsh about it, but you just have to empathize with them and see where they're coming from.
Like, think of a very popular artist you listen to, there are way more people that like them then who hate them because they are good at writing music. (I'm not saying your stuff is bad btw) but it isn't always like what you think it is

Maybe, they don't like your stuff because it isn't their style, or maybe, they don't like it because they don't think you put much effort into it, or maybe, you get where i'm going? You've gotta understand that most likely someone doesn't like your stuff because they dont think it is good.
but if you dont like my stuff, why should i care? im not gonna let that bother me. you dont have to like it. i dont need to get popular. i enjoy the music i make. im not gonna let critics stop that.
