This group is aimed to give members a fun experience while they work with Soundation Studio. For Soundation users wanting help with basic studio functions or if users need advice on how to make a particular track work. This is also a group for anyone that would like to share their music and love of music! No special requirements needed. You're a music lover and that's good enough! Announcements! The Rumors
Welcome to The Rumors! If you were invited, well, great! But anyone is free to join. Every week a new track will be featured (If I can get 5 or more members.) Right now I am having a bit of trouble finding people to join, so if you like this group please tell your friends! You can use loops, but I would suggest making your own melodies too, because if you don't it won't sound as original, people may not vote for it, and I might delete it. That being said, I think that covers the basics. Obvious rules are no copying, no voting yourself please, and I wouldn't recommend posting more than 3 tracks a week. Thanks guys, and have a wonderful time! Btw for those of you who didn't know, I am judging the songs by myself, so the most original song is most likely to win. The Feedback Group
This group is made for aspiring Soundation users who would like feedback on their tracks. If you don't get much attention with your tracks, you can always come here to brush up on your skills and learn from the community! Rules: -NO TEASING/BULLYING OTHER USERS. This should be an obvious one, but some people simply don't follow this rule, especially online. So, please, don't be disrespectful to other users. All we want is room for improvement! -JOIN, JOIN, JOIN! Okay, technically this isn't a rule, but if this group is to thrive, we need both types of members: the type that wants feedback, and the type that analyzes the tracks in this group. Whichever type of user you are, join this group to benefit everyone here! -DON'T FEEL BAD ABOUT "NEGATIVE" COMMENTS: The reason I put negative in quotes is because THERE WILL NOT BE ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS. However, if someone criticizes your track a little too harshly, don't feel bad. You shouldn't take the comment to heart, but you should try to improve in whatever area you don't feel confident about. -ANYONE CAN REVIEW EACH OTHER'S TRACKS!! This rule is definitely a good one. I am just a humble moderator. You members are much more musically capable, and I suggest you put that capability to use (not that you guys haven't already :D). That's all! Midi Challenge
Welcome anyone and everyone to the Midi Challenge! This is an open contest, so anyone can join, comment, etc. Also I should probably point out that the prizes are free so there will sadly be no winning anything grand because there will not be many people participating. Rules: You need to choose any one Midi clip and incorporate it into your song. You are aloud to change the midi to fit your song, and you CAN have multiple midis. Prizes (Free): 3rd place: a like on any 7 of your songs and a feature in this group. 2nd place: a like on any 7 of your songs and a recommendation, a follower, and a feature in this group. 1st place: a like on any 10 of your songs, 3 recommendations, 5 followers, a feature in this group, and a shout-out.
