Teacher, producer, editor This year I mainly teach 6.th grade, music and arts, but the last 3 years it´s mainly been 8.th to 10th.grad students, in Stavanger, Norway. I love bringing technology (like Soundation) into the class room. Not only because it´s the young peoples natural evironment, but also because it enlarges my tools box. So many new ways to highlight patterns, moods, styles and variation to motivate my students, regardless of talent and knowledge, to dig into the world of creating music. Music for composing their own dance, to make a rap, or to make the ringing tone for their mobile. We start at school, they create their own account, and then ...... WHAOWWW! They continue at home. Establish groups and invite the others. To share and to enjoy. MUSIC. No time for FaceBook. This is real life. And then we discuss copy right and protection, privacy and sharing. Responsibility and respect for other peoples creations. And we dont´t have to steal from others anymore. Love it
