Sponge Bob Recorder Interpretation

I'm teaching recorder to 4th graders this month. I was amazed to find out yesterday that the ending flute part of the Spongebob Squarepants theme song is the same three notes from Hot Cross Buns and then just one other note (D) played once and that's it. Here's what it ends up sounding like.
