Well, darkness is only the absence of light and if you think about it, they're really pretty much the same thing except tinted differently. The darkness can be comforting if you just let go of your fear. It's really just the things in the dark that people should be afraid of. Like say, me. And really, I just like to help people out when it comes to music. After you hear the same samples used over and over, it gets a little frustrating. Plus it's refreshing.
Thanks guys for the words of wisdom...and B L 4 CK for a dark guy.... your very uplifting.... oh and Roix recommended you for help with Hail the Queen.
Just mess around with the studio a bit. Play what's in your soul. Let your heart sing its song. Get emotional. Experiment. Explore. Let it flow. Get inspired. Be Inspired. Be inspiring. Listen to music while you're making music? And N3V3R F0RG3T 2 B UR S3LF!!!
I agree with B L 4 C K, no matter if it's good or bad, just make a full song that involves new skills to create! That way, you'll learn more about music, the studio, and you'll have more ideas on what to do with all that extra knowledge! I can understand, though, that motivation isn't always there. In fact, I was off for two months becuase of a severe case of that, but I found my way again and made some really good songs since then. You got this, dude! :D
...to being good. This happens a lot. Just keep working at it and eventually you'll break through. If you need help, just ask me or Roix or someone else; even some top users like KE.
Who have you been trying to impress? I've only just seen you begining to stop using loops and from what I have seen, none of them are full songs. Start with that. Also I've seen so many people give up on music or take breaks from it because they can't come up with song ideas but you have to realize that these musical droughts are just a test, and if you can overcome this then you'll be just a little bit closer...

I actually wouldn't recommend listening to music whilst making music because then you start to imitate; same for writing.
