This month, Soundation invites you to make music for the future. As 2018 is drawing to a close, let's imagine what the future will hold for the music world.
Will algorave, where live coders make music on the go, take over the rave scene? Will the rise of AI-generated music make machines your best collaborators? Will this fascination with machine learning and algorithms, from a generative music player to voice-reactive sound sculptures, push the boundaries of music creation and redefine the meaning of music? Or is it too utopian a vision?

Grab your Alexa and submit an original track based on a theme of Future Perfect before the deadline (16 January 2019, 23:00 CET) and 3 winners – users with the most unique, creative and theme-relevant track – will get to pick any 3 items from our Sound Shop and have their tracks published on our social media.
