I want a review for my Funky Girl track. I know how to use compressors. Please review its quality and tell me what you think... https://soundation.com/user/Mitch-nOLab/track/funky-gurl-free-trap-instrumental-download-hq

This week's review goes to an upbeat electro jam by Smithsontechno6145!

(1/4) Feedback to Smithsontechno6145

• I think the intro is slightly too rushed. As of now you introduce sth new every 8 bars. Try starting with just one or two elements to build up a track and extend the rounds to 16 bars instead so it's more balanced. :)

• The break at 0.27 should be 4 or 8 bars imo. Now it's somewhere in between.

• Love the vocal sample at 0.33. Def gives character to the track!

(2/4) Feedback to Smithsontechno6145

• The part after 1 min is a real banger. The whole headroom is filled - sth to aim for when in sound design.

• The mix of beats is a bit muddy. To get crystal clear beats with a lot of depth, always use EQ and compressor on every channel of your beats.

• The wobbly bass at 1.22 should be more upfront. Turn up with the volume and again, use eq and compressor. :)

(3/4) Feedback to Smithsontechno6145

• There are lots of creative ideas in this track. But instead of fitting all ideas in one track, try picking out 2 or 3 themes, then elaborate them through arrangements.

• Imagine what listeners will remember after hearing your track. It can be a melody, beat, break or one-of-a-kind chord progression. Having this in mind when creating a track will help you add that extra something that sticks out and gets remembered.

(4/4) Feedback to Smithsontechno6145

• Overall, great job! I can tell that you enjoyed making this track a lot. Now, try picking a theme for this track and work around it. Feel free to post a remake so I can give you more feedback!
