But if you're working with a beat loop, just put it on one channel and use the compressor. :)

Continued: Also for your beats, use the Drum preset compressor and equalize slightly. Boost the Lows by 15% and bring the Mids down 15% and boost the high by 10% for the Kicks only. Put the snare on a seperate channel and cut out ALL of the lows and boost the high by 10%.

Here are some dubstep tips: Well definitely make the most of the Wub Machine, adjust the cutoff of one of the wubs. Use the most of the automation. To make your melodies sound dark and gloomy, if you look on a piano you see black keys and white keys. Mix the white keys and the black keys together to make an awesome dubstep melody. Also put some slight reverb on everything but make the reverb on the main melody a little bit heavier.
