you need a break down at some point, perhaps half way through and then when you bring it back in you could add some other synths and thicken the texture, the notes are great, the structure needs a bit of work. I do not think that you should have any rapping in this, as like you I don't like it, I like the main focus to be more melodic than rapping, which puts more weight on what is said than how nice and melodic it sounds.
I absolutely love it!!! I would agree with BASS4ROG though it does get repetitive but I think it is amazing nonetheless...Possibly my new fav. that you have done.
I said the supersaw tremolo is a SUBSTITUTE for the person that will be rapping. I know that I need to have bars in order to allow a person to coherently rap a verse, but this will most likely never have any lyrics/vocals since I don't rap. This is more of a proof of concept. I never wrote a chorus, as this is, again, more of a proof of concept or experiment to see as to whether I can properly mix an Urban beat/instrumental. Thanks!
"slightly repetitive" lol? Heres my honest critque... after 30 seconds exactly u REALLY need to take out that supersaw tremolo thing in the background because thats just for the intro and after 30 seconds once u take it out someone can start rapping a verse. Then as their rapping their verse make sure they have 8 or 16 bars to rap then have a chorus type of breakdown then go back to the original beat without the supersaw tremolo thing to make a second verse transition. Hope this helps nice mastering btw :)
