Thanks for the analysis @souless. I pretty much agree with you on everything, even the repetitive drum bit. If you listen to stuff I made like Flare though, they're a bit more interesting.
aye it was a combination of styles, ya gotta keep in mind that those kinda drums are a staple of most EDM. btw the outro was me, and thanks for the listen bro.
:47 pretty damn clean tho. Definitly Legions drums and Trillans synth/melody. Honestly pretty nice way to outline your separate styles in a collab.
another good example https://soundcloud.com/rarelamar/creation-yaguru-x-lamar. While neither style I linked is close to this song it outlines why slower tempos, especially for hip hop/trap can make for really good tracks.
@Chordsboy Slow trap is one of my favorite styles. When done right you can fit alot of percs between snare hits and a good kick line will create alot of anticipation and energy that makes it sound really satisfying, especially when there are really good slow bass lines. Heres a good example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVt5beZZ9-w
Clean ass outro. Can't fuck with 1:43. Repetitive drums like that are why I don't like house. some pretty cool melodic elements in the song altho it feels like some of them are drowned out in others. @2:17 that cool high pitched synth in there sounds like should've been put to the front. In situations like that I would've lowered the note velocity/automated the volume of the other melody components to make that nice high synth the main thing the listener would be hearing, making it easier to focus on.
slow gets you a heavier effect usually so ig ya
I seriously love this. You both are incredible!! One criticism tho: I feel like the song is a tiny bit too slow, but I guess that's what you guys were going for :P
Impossible, nothing with Legion's name on it can get featured.
you can definily tell wich parts are trillan/legion. actually (im so sure this will get featured) we didnt need to do that feature legion petition because he'll probably get a joint feature here.
