Does pot have a place in Spiritual Teaching on the journey of awakening? I generally avoid taking a position on controversial topics because I have an appreciation for all the different points of view. In the case of marijuana, however, I felt it was important to provide a counterweight to the growing tendency not only to legalize pot but also to legitimize regular use even among folks on the spiritual path.
