@SoullesAroun' a grey brick means that the sounds are maximized as high as they will go with/without clipping. If you can see tips of the peaks without them being cut off then you can tell that its only exceptionally mastered rather than clipping. Also, the point of mastering is to make it as loud as possible without clipping. If it's too loud for you then turn your volume down.
@SoulessAroun' You do not know what clipping is.
If you say so bruh.
@SoulessAroun' I made sure to keep clipping as little as possible. I'm not stupid, I know what I'm doing. It's not constantly clipping in the track, just because the waveform is massive does not mean it is clipping at all. I just happened to get it loud enough without it clipping.
If your waveform looks like a grey brick it is fucking clipping. IF you see it get cutoff that means you are loosing audio quality Sonaris makes amazing and creative compositions but this shit is still clipping and way too loud.
Guys I am very bad at this but I would like you to check my song they are too bad cause I am just a 9 year old and I don't know a lot about this.
HOLLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!
@SoulessAroun' No clipping here. @roix: It's important to remember that soundation is merely a stepping stone for a much larger world of music production.. Featured tracks like this should be an inspiration more than a discouragement. I like having one (no more) featured track that wasn't made in soundation, because it shows users where they can go after soundation.
